A downloadable Frog Blasting Game

Buy Now$8.00 USD or more

Frogs With Shotguns! is a 4 player, competitive, frog blasting frenzy!

In this game, players take turns leaping and blasting through the Swamp in a slippery scramble for the Golden Fly. Either be the last Frog standing or bring the Fly back to your corner of the Swamp to win!

Each turn begins with a "RIBBIT!", don't forget it!

Then, roll 2d6. Assign one result to Leap (movement) and one to Blast (attack).

Trade turns strategically leaping around Obstacles and blasting each other away!

The first to bring the Golden Fly back to their corner of the Swamp wins!

Each Frog has a unique Ability that lets them alter the rules of the game! WIZRD, for example, can Blast through Obstacles! All the other Frogs have to navigate around them and can't shoot through em. WIZRD? Just blasting Frogs away from behind cover.

Additional Frogs are on the way! Be on the lookout for the first Content Pack for FWS!

Print and cut fully illustrated tokens, character sheets, and game board! Instructions for assembly and alternatives are included. Print ready files are provided in full color +  black and white.

A full suite of tokens, assets, and images are included in both 140ppi and 300 ppi versions. Upload these to your VTT of choice and get to blasting in no time!

Happy Hopping!

Played it, and had a blast! I think the strongest aspects of this game are how frogs get blown around the screen when shot, and the political part of placing tiles at the beginning. Created a lot of *teleports behind you* moments. The launch mechanic is also great in its "all in" randomness. Some critique would be that after playing though we all learned to adopt pretty defensive and inactive strategies, and when enough frogs died we had a game grind to a halt when the two ghosts would strategize where get the most "boos" on living players. Overall, it's very stylish and a cool deathmatch style game! There seems to be plenty of room for mods, and if I were to change anything I'd try to make more incentive to cause climactic battles, maybe a way to heal if you dealt damage or got the fly?

hey! Thanks for the feedback, I’m so glad y’all enjoyed! The post-blast landing mechanic has been updated to be a bit more refined! It will get pushed in an update hopefully this month. Some other tweaks, bits and bobs, are also on the way, including new frogs and board hazards 🐸

these are great pieces of critique! They’d be right at home on the Odd Gob discord! Feel free to stop in and talk shop with the other players 😁

I love this concept!! Can’t wait to bring it to the table, but is it only for 4 players? Can you play 2 or 3?

Hey there! Some suggestions for 2 and 3 player games are included in the rules PDF, but in short:

Yes it’s very doable! Play testing was primarily focused on 4 player games, but varying player counts is something I hope to take  better care of in a future update ✌️ with more eyes and games being played by the public, I’m hoping it’s a collaborative solution 🐸

This looks cool! How do you get that thick cardboard on tokens?

thanks! I actually use tokens from a board game I found at the thrift store! I cut out the images from the printout, and glue em on!
